In an unconventional and fervent ceremony, Mikayla and Toby Baker exchanged vows in the backyard of the groom’s family's home in New Zealand.

The university years are always earmarked with momentum and change. This certainly was the case for Mikayla Haycock and Toby Leonard Baker, who met on the same floor in their shared university hall. Before he was her husband, Toby was the first person she had met when she moved to Christchurch, New Zealand, in 2016. What followed, as the pair graduated and gradually embarked on a journey that spanned the next eight years, felt deeply serendipitous.
